SHV AI Safety Framework.

This document outlines how SHV thinks about power, access, and risk as its intelligence systems grow. It is not marketing; it is a baseline commitment.

1. Tiered access to intelligence

Not all capabilities are exposed equally. Internal SHV systems, strategic partners, and public APIs operate at different levels of power and control.

2. High-stakes domains

Work in defense, autonomy, or emotionally sensitive contexts is subject to stricter review, slower rollout, and more limited access. In some cases, capabilities will remain strictly internal.

3. Behavior, monitoring & red-teaming

Systems are stress-tested against misuse scenarios. Logs and monitoring (with respect for privacy) help detect abuse and guide safeguards and policy updates.

4. Human control & override

When systems touch real-world consequences, SHV prioritizes human oversight, manual overrides, and fail-safes over fully automated control loops.

5. Constant revision

As capabilities evolve, so does this framework. SHV treats safety not as a finished policy but as an ongoing engineering and ethical practice.
